What do I need for GPS?

• You need al least one person equipped with a GPS antenna and a receiver.

• The type of survey you are performing decides over how many receivers and antennas you need.

• The equipment price and the survey expense are raising along with higher accuracy demands. The accuracy of GPS reaches from 100 meters to subcentimeters:

  • Single receiver (walking): ± 100 m

  • Receiver using differential corrections (Navigation): 1 m - 5 m

  • Geodetic Surveying: mm - cm
